Native Plants & Geology on Bohna Ranch, Hornitos

Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm join naturalist guides Jon-Paul Salonen and Andrea Canapary on a hike of beautiful Bohna Ranch, a historical cattle ranch. Located in Hornitos, this 840 acre property is composed of blue oak woodland habitat and there are many significant water resources on the property including springs, seeps, vernal pools, and seasonal wetlands.

On the hike, you can learn about natural aspects of the property including ecology and important species as well as the important cultural ranching heritage this ranch protects.
